2 best apps for a 16GB iPhone 6s

The question is too generic to give specific answers. It all depends on what you want to do with your phone. But I can suggest a couple of things:
  • Make sure you have iCloud enabled so you can save documents and photos to the cloud. Dropbox is good for this as well.
  • Stream music instead of storing it on your iPhone. Pandora, Spotify, and Apple Music are all good services for this.
  • Opt for puzzle games instead of action games that have a lot of movement, graphics, and sound effects.
Other than that, what kind of apps might you be interested in that are not “productive apps that are highly effective or some games that do not really take up a lot of space on the phone or perhaps some news apps?” You need to more than just say what you do not want. You need to give people who would answer some clue as to what you dowant in order to get specific app recommendations.
In the meantime, let me help you on your quest…

I used a iphone 16gb until a few months ago. The lack of storage space is a real problem in these devices. Reading your question makes me think of two apps that saved my life during that time.
Google Photos
Few things take up more space on your phone than photos and videos you take with the camera. Google Photos will make a backup of each photo and help you delete photos from your phone to save space. If you have a data plan, you can always access all the photos from the app. It also has a search engine that recognizes the content of photos and even lists photos by the name of each person.
Spotify
Music from your phone uses a lot of space. There is nothing better than listening to music via streaming. For a few dollars you can have a premium account and download one album or playlist at a time, to occupy as little space as possible.
Now, my best advice is to uninstall all apps that have information that can be seen from Safari. Many apps have very good mobile websites, and there is no need to install an app specifically dedicated to this. In my blacklist are these:Must Read:How to get iPhone out of recovery mode ?
- Youtube
- Facebook (you will lose notifications, but save a lot of space. Totally worth it!)
- Pinterest
- Twitter
- Etc.
Finally, use the apps that come installed on the iPhone (Safari, Notes, Calendar). They are not the best, but will prevent you downloading an additional app for these services.

  1. If you are using a Mac and have lost or deleted your photos, you can make use of this Mac photo recovery software. It provides an easy-to-use, dependable option for accomplishing digital media retrieval on a Mac or external device like USB and flash drives, SD, CF and memory cards.
